  1. Connor McGovern's Mustang RTR Spec 5

Awesome ride, and cool to see the process- thanks for sharing. I'm curious as to how well Connor fits in that thing- he looks like a big dude. :muscle:
  2. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

You might be referencing the drop off when letting off the throttle but Mike summed it up- doesn't drop below 75
  3. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

Unfortunately this config doesn't log FPDC, but Lund seemed to be happy with it.
  4. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

Its shown at the top of the graph- the lift pump pressure.
  5. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

BAP is on and it did the trick. Still don't know why BOTH DW400's had so much difficulty keeping up with a pretty mild setup but oh well...
  6. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

For what its worth my BAP is going in today and hopefully I should be back on the dyno tomorrow- will report back with results.
  7. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

It is- Max DC is 42.6 during the pull. From what Lund told me "the target pressure is flat on the log but the pump isn't capable of hitting it."
  8. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

No sir- its consistently above 13.8+ under WOT.
  9. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

I appreciate that brother, thank you.
  10. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

Sorry, I had to load a different config- but here it is.
  11. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

I'm sure I could if I had the proper config? I just have whatever .dle lund sends over. Or maybe its already being logged- is there a specific abbreviation to look for in the logs? (sorry, some of the tuning stuff is new to me but I'm learning lol)
  12. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

I'm sure Lund is pretty on point with these, but thanks for the suggestion.
  13. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

No worries! I just raised the pump slightly in the bucket and it did the same thing unfortunately. So this is now two pumps, two sets of pump lines and now raising the pump- all to no avail. BAP will be here in a couple days, we'll see what happens then.
  14. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

Thanks for the knowledge here Mike, greatly appreciated.
  15. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

56LB- but its not an issue with the injectors- the issue is with the HLFP which is causing a drop in pressure in the upper RPM range, also affecting the high pressure rail too. All good- no BAP, yet. But will probably try one.
  16. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

LOL- its not a 'stock fuel setup' its the upgraded fueling components that Whipple deems safe to run their stage 2 setup- and hundreds, if not thousands do without issue. This case is an outlier, as Lund has pointed out and the reasoning behind this troubleshooting thread.
  17. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

I'm leaning towards just trying the BAP with the DW and seeing what happens. But to your second question, no issues, no codes, etc with the car at all- Lund actually was impressed with how 'happy' the car seems otherwise, go figure lol. None, but then again the car has only seen a few dyno...
  18. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

I appreciate the response Mike, I'll give it a look.
  19. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

93 with a splash of Octanium for the dyno.
  20. DW400 Fuel Pressure Dropping During WOT - Whipple Stage 2

While I appreciate your opinion and partially agree, there is certainly something going on here with this setup in particular. Lund has told me the only time he's seen one drop this bad is when there is an issue with the venturi tube- but since we addressed that (with no luck) I'm just seeing...
