Has anyone tried holding the start button in and gone through the motions with the brake and or clutch pedals? Curious.
That's one of the first things I did. Figured it would eventually find the spot. The brake just needed to be pressed harder. It will be interesting to see if it's @wingnutt starter.

Well, not much to report. Braved the cold and drug my @$$ out to the shop in 12 degree weather 😂

but the heat cannon is on a smart plug so we can warm it up before hand…

New starter in and running…haven’t had the problem since, but need to find somewhere to get the old one tested to see what the issue might be. Back in the day, when the solenoids started failing you could just pop the hood and jump the terminals with a pliers 😂

Well…after a full week, 1100 miles of driving and about two dozen starts in all conditions (rain, cold, and hot start) I can say my issue was defiantly the starter/solenoid 😎

Would you be willing to defiantly defend your observation?
I can’t believe how much smaller v8 starters have gotten!
I remember them ten inches long, five or six inch diameter and about a foot long….
