So just wondering if this is normal or not.. When I press the clutch to start the vehicle, sometimes I hear a "hissing" (releasing air pressure) sound coming from the clutch area.

Could you take a video of it? Might be normal. Mine isn't quiet either.

I just went in my car because I remember it making a noise. The best way to describe the noise it makes is like an electric actuator. I hope this helps.

I will if ford dealership doesn't fix this issue. I spoke with the service manager (which owns a 2015 5.0 MT) and said that his car doesn't "hiss' when pressing on the clutch and that it's his first time hearing this issue/concern. They are currently running diagnostics and I should have the car back tomorrow. I will keep you posted on what they say.

That is the fuel pump priming taking place.

You bet. Push it in again, let off, then push the clutch again. It should not make the noise as the priming is completed.Thanks for the reply

Getting slight hiss from the clutch with 1st gear is engaged and you are letting off the clutch towards the engagement point. Took it to the dealer and the mechanic heard it also. They will be taking the transmission out unfortunately . I don't know if it's the clutch master or throwout rod but that's just what I'm assuming.
