So my 22 Mach-1 has a different rear view mirror than my previous 2018 convertible. On the vert I was able to tap power off the back of the mirror but the Mach-1 mirror doesn't have a socket or port. Anyone know of a power source I can use up by the mirror? How are people wiring up their dashcams and radar detectors? I'm trying to keep from running cords to power sockets. Thanks for your help. - Rainier

I tapped into the passenger footwell fuse box for my dash cam. Blendmount sells radar detector mounts that will wire into your mirror.

I had a shop install mine and they did a great job. Wired it into the passenger footwell and across the drivers side curtain airbag space to the rear camera.

Mine is tapped into the fuse box under hood. Ran through passenger footwell and up to mirror. All looks seemless. I do wish I had a better mount option as the safety stuff really limits where mine can go.

Thanks everyone, I had powered my dashcam from down in the the well in the past but aham23 I watched your video and it showed exactly what I was looing for, a close place to get 12 volts. I'll let you know how it goes after I change things up this weekend. Cheers - Rainier

Look up ShelbyFlyer on YouTube. He has a very good video of how he installed his Blackvue dash cam using fuse taps in the passenger footwell. I installed mine the same way.

Same here. I have a cam that uses both a constant and an ignition switch source. Use fuse taps and get out a multimeter and just look for what has no juice when off for the switched, and juice when off for the constant. Super easy and all you have to do is route the wire up along the door, into the A-pillar and then into the headliner.
