HI
I was wondering if anyone can help. I am building a car (MG SVR, photos attached) from a shell that I own. I own the blue one which was the launch car but I also bought a "just in case" spare shell when MG went into liquidation, they are made of carbon fibre and MG only made a few so it was a bit of insurance in the event of me smashing it...
A few months ago DriveTribe borrowed my car and the frankly odd video that emerged tipped the balance to build the shell.
The MG had a 2005 5.0 mustang engine that Shaun Hyland and Roush modified slightly so the shell is able to easily fit a modern Coyote with the same mounting points. I had initially bought a 2010 GT500 engine but have changed my mind and plan to build it with a Mustang Gen 3, 10r80 and a supercharger (Whipple or VMP) as I wanted an Auto.
I have found a late 2019 RHD Mustang 5.0 GT in the uk that had 700 miles on it and light damage so have bought most of that, so engine, gearbox, ECU, BCU, Key, fuel modules, steering rack, Digital Dash, A/C etc. As is with the way with these things some of the bits promised have not materialized when the pallet arrived so I am looking at trying to find the looms as I want to fit most of the modern mustang into this. I am in the UK so ideally need RHD ones, but maybe could adapt LHD ones.
There are a few cars being broken but mainly it seems to be 2015-17. Does anyone know if the looms from a 2015-2017 (Dash & Body harness plus others) are the same as for a 2018-2020.
