Came across this and looks damn clean, but a bit pricey especially when I suspect that it's just a charging pad and doesn't offer wireless carplay integration right?

The exact same charger can be found on aliexpress for $50. I am actually thinking of getting it too

A lot of mods/parts brands just use generic chinese products and slap their names on it. It does give you the advantage of getting warranty on the product but the generic chinese brand will always be much much cheaper and will be literally exactly the same product. Only difference is the branding. I just bought the led reverse and 4th brake light for 38$. American muscle sells this branded product for $90. It doesn't make sense to get ripped off for literally the same exact product. I discovered this when I had my VW GLI and found led side mirror turn signal for $15 and it turned out to be the exact same as one that a brand was selling for $150. For extra peace of mind, use paypal to checkout that way you have 6 months to make a claim if the product is not as described or stops working for some reason paypal will refund you.

Wireless charging docks are all overpriced. Plus it’s not convenient when you want to use your phone with Sync/CarPlay.
I ended up going with a wireless charger clipped to the vent and a lighting cable from USB port to the phone. Total cost $18. Does the job.

Yeah I hear that....honestly, all I need is landscape phone cradle to be placed over that same section and I'd be happy.

I don't like that it blocks the HVAC controls, so if somebody would make one for landscape mode I'm down!

Yikes that etsy charger is a yuge .

I love the vent wireless charging unit...as its not only convenient (easy access to your phone)...and when the AC is running, keeps the phone nice and

but see that's actually my hesitation with getting a vent clip holder....direct ac over the phone may or may not be good for your phone

I keep my AC at 2-3 tops. Now that you mentioned I hope the phone doesn’t get messed up.
