For those that plan to drive their Mustang in the winter.

What rims are you planning on picking up?

What about tire size?

For wheels I am thinking about these sizes:

19x8.5 ~35-40mm offset
19x9.0 ~40-45mm offset

Tires: 245/45R19 or 255/40R19

The 245/45 is narrower and taller which would be better in snow. Although I'm concerned it won't perform very well on dry pavement in the winter.

Thoughts?

My plan is to purchase aftermarket wheels and tires in my favorite designs/finishes/sizes and switch them out to the OEM wheels and OEM A/S tires for winter driving and at trade-in time.

I plan on running the same set I had on my 2013. Love it or hate it, I absolutely love the blue wheels. A lot of people were disappointed when I took them off in the spring. They should look great against Magnetic.

18x8 Sparco Assetto Gara in Matte Blue with 235/50R-18 Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT. They worked great last year. I got around better than my wife's 2013 Honda Fit Sport in the snow.

A better depiction of the actual color borrowed from Google Images.
