Well, I suppose if they don't fit, Tire Rack would have to offer a refund since they are specifically saying they will fit a 2015 Mustang GT-PP, wouldn't they?

Tire Rack did a laser treatment on a GT PP car to ensure proper fit; if they say a wheel fits, it will fit.

Almost no 18" wheels will fit over the Brembos... there are one or two, but they're super-duper expensive.

However, I would not go with the setup that they have there as the recommended one... because it'll be cheaper and better for driving in the snow (and you'll have a wider selection of tires to choose from) if you use a square setup rather than the staggered width setup TireRack recommends because that's the stock setup given with the car.

So take one of the 19" x 8.5" wheels that Tire Rack recommends for the fronts on the PP's, and get four of those. Put 245/40R19 tires on them; the cheapest ones are, in my opinion, the best ones: Michelin X-Ice Xi3's, $244 a piece. I'm running them (in 18" size because I don't have the PP) on my GT and they're phenomenal.

JimmyTwoTimes,

I agree, I would greatly prefer to get Michelin Xi3 dedicated snow tires, rather than the Blizzak LM-32 performance winter tires, since they should have better absolute snow traction, which is what I want. Not to mention, I had very good luck with them on my 2005 GT.

However, after that I'm not quite following you... The Avandi BO Bello 19x8.5" wheels that Tire Rack says will fit the '15 GT-PP (and which I like the look of) say that they require 255/40R19 tires, not the 245/40R19 tires you mention. And unfortunately, 19" Xi3's only come in either 245/40R19 or 245/45R19. The only 255 Xi3's are 18".

Are you saying the latter will still fit on these Avandi wheels despite being narrower? If so, why don't they come up as an option on Tire Rack?

Sorry if this is a naive question, obviously I don't know much about tires....

Hey guys,

Just an update. I ended up with the Blizzak LM-32s. 250/40 R19 all around. Ordered them at firestone complete auto and they price matched with Tire Rack. Haven't driven too much yet but from the very first minute pulling out noticed a major difference in handling. Just to give you an idea though its 15 degrees here and completely dry here in NY. Dried up salt on the grand but nothing else.

Not too bad Blizaak. Not to bad at all.

The stock rims given by ford for the Perforance package. 2.3L.

Firestone were extra careful. Used the machine to take out the tires and put the new ones on, and also put this sort of tape or paper to be able to slide it in. Theres a wide residue still on them but it rubs off easily. Just needs a good wash.

Also forgot to mention it was $1200 total.. so yeah.. pretty pricy but so far well worth it. Lets see if Ill say that when the next snow storm rolls around.

When I get my car I was planning on putting square 245/45's on the stock GTPP wheels. The rears will be slightly stretched, but nothing too bad.

It seems everyone is going with TireRack this winter season.

I drove to South Bend TODAY to pick up my new set (Mich X-Ice Xi3) for the EB and will be mounting them tomorrow.

I also went with a black wheel, Verde Saga. Nobody has TPMS sensors in stock, so I'm going without until they become available.

I've have the same dilemma... I'm in Massachusetts, my soon to arrive GT/PP will be a daily driver. I'm torn between the blizzaks or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3. Definitely leaning toward the all seasons though because although we see a decent amount of snow, the roads are usually cleared pretty quick. How long are blizzaks going to last on dry pavement especially with the random warm day or two here and there?
