So I just got a '17 GT Premium 6 speed a few weeks ago.

I plan on a few chassis/IRS upgrades over the winter hiatus so I can improve the drag strip performance.

This is what I have planned:

Steeda IRS alignment kit
BMR cradle lockout kit
Steeda rear subframe/IRS braces
BMR poly vertical links

& low profile jacking rails. BMR or Steeda? Do the BMR fit with the Steeda subframe braces? I'd prefer the BMR, but will do Steeda if need be.

Does all this work together or will any of the parts create installation conflicts with other parts? Are all these parts DIY boltons I can do at home in my garage with normal hand tools? I know I'll need a new alignment after the IRS alignment kit, but I plan on doing all these at the same time.

I will also add a Strut tower brace, and pick up some slicks with front skinnies or try with drag radials first. Was thinking the Hoosier DR2 245/45/17 on a 17"x8" OEM Mustang wheel to start.

My goal is maximize the the chassis to get the most of the stock power of the Coyote engine without compromising street-ability or daily driving use during summer months.

Thanks for any suggestions or concerns with my plans stated above.

Looks like a solid list! I am bias, as you can imagine - but I can also tell you facts. The CB005 at $219.95 will work well for you and has performed at higher levels than any other product of it's kind, or "systems" of it's kind.

My suggestion is to go with the CB005 and the CJR002 Rails - so you save money overall, get the best performance and do not have to worry about product compatibility.

So, here is what I suggest.

BMR-CB005
Steeda IRS Alignment sleeves for CB005 (not "needed" - but not a bad idea for the low price)
BMR-CJR002
BMR-TCA048

As for the wheels, I suggest going through with the plan on the 17x8 - but for the tire, you could use the Hoosier Bias Ply 28x10x17. I have experience with that tire on 8, 9 and 10" wide wheels and they work really well. This is assuming the "6 speed" meant MT82, and not the 6R80. If it is the 6R80, then go with the drag radial you mentioned.

FYI you cannot use the BMR cradle lockout kit with the Steeda subframe support braces. The front arms of the lockout kit are not compatible with the braces.

A) Cradle lockout kit OR B) Support System + Braces + Alignment pins

Yea MT82. I will likely go Bias slicks at one point, but needing to run Bias up front as well will likely delay that.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions

Actually you can. Just get the level 1 kit, the one used for convertibles. Part CB010.

^^^^^Says a lot about the integrity of BMR recommending a competitors product because its not something they offer. :headbang:
