I feel for you Mike.... I left Cleveland, Ohio back in 1985 and moved south of the salt line.

My Mustang sat for almost a month due to other reasons.... took it out today in 65 degree weather and I can understand the anticipation with 3 months to go!
One month was WAY too long for me!
Hang in there buddy!!!!!

My garage stays pretty dust free so no cover on mine. I run a 50 inch fan on a timer to move the air around. I can't wait to get mine out. My buddies are planning a trip to drive the tail of the dragon in May. Ohio sucks!

I believe this guy owns one of the Ziebart franchises in the Rust Belt............ Hmmmmmmmmm?

One of the most detrimental compounds which contributes to rust is Dihydrogen Monoxide... if we can all join together and fight this awful chemical assailant on our vehicles as well as the attack on the general population.... this stuff is deadly!

I'm not kidding... see link below:

Drove mine last week. Hoping for a few 50 degree dry days between now and March.

My brother, I’ve lived in Chicago my whole life so I’m very familiar with salt and am aware of its record vs cars. there’s more than a few around here that would be great candidates to represent Rust-Eze 😂.

Mustangs are boatloads of fun in the snow. I’m not afraid of salt with newer cars, they’re much better protected than they used to be. But I do understand why so many people garage their cars in winter, I’d just rather drive mine.

I believe @MAGS1 lives right in the middle of the rust belt.

It was 58 here in Cleveland yesterday and I felt the itch so I pulled mine out for a quick blast thru the local twisties.

Same here, was in the 50’s yesterday as well. We’ve had a decent amount of rain the last week too, so all the salt is off the roads now. Took the cars to the local touchless wash to get all the salt and dirt off.

I actually had to pull the cover off, unplug the tender and let it idle for about 10 minutes before I took it out.
