Today I noticed that my windshield water pump was not working.

Do you know where the washer water pump is located?

Has anyone have a similar issue? Is there anything I can check before deeming it needs replacement?

Aren't they in the bottom of the washer fluid bottle? That's where I'd expect to find it.
Have you checked fuses, wiring connections and hoses? Last time one of mine "quit" pumping it was a broken hose barb on the underside of the squirter eye.

Thanks, I haven’t begun troubleshooting.

Were you hearing the washer pump work or was it silent when you had your problem?

For me, I don’t hear anything.

The pump is usually located in the bottom of the washer fluid container. You’ll have to access it from under the car.

If you hear a hum but no fluid coming from it, then normally there’s an issue with the hose from the container to the windshield. Check the path of the hose and where the hose connects under the hood to the wiper nozzles.

If you don’t hear a hum, then the pump is dead. A dead pump is either due to pump motor failure, something jammed in the pump impeller or the harness to the pump has been damaged.

I added a new windshield washer tank on my 20GT.

If you want to see where it is, you'll find it here.

Go to 1:57 of the video below to see the washer pump on the tank, then I install it 2:54 on the car.
