I recently got an Ikon GT500 rep hood for my 2015 S550. It has provisions for what appears to be factory washer nozzles. Unfortunately, they don't fit. I tried to get some info from Ikon to see if I need to use something else but of course, they were useless. Has anyone encountered this issue and if so, please tell me how you solved it. I am not Ă  fan of wiper arm mounted units. Moderator, my apologies if this is in the wrong place.

Ya its a necro and you may have figured it out but ive seen other people with this same issue. I figured this out after trying to modify a couple sets and the fix was stupid simple. in the pic below, take a dremel or razor or whatever and make them flush with the rest of the piece, or maybe just a liiiiiiitle above flush.

I did this and they snapped right in.

Wow! Thanks for the reply. I will try this as well. I have just been running without the washers.

So thought id necro this too. Finally got around to coming up with a solution to this issue after getting frustrated with the things just popping out of the hood and dangling.

Ended up mounting a single, wide angle nozzle in the cowl cover. It has the added benefit of having no hose running up to and across the hood so i think its a much cleaner look. I did have to modify the panel a bit due to the upward angle of nozzles and the slope of the panel in the middle. Used a heat gun and pushed it out so its mostly flat. sealed around it with some hot glue that ill touch up and hit with some matte black paint.

The passenger wiper goes over it with just enough clearance and it hits the whole windshield as long as the driver side wiper is moving and not in the way (which happens anyway once you hit the sprayer).

Just had to cut the hose and crimp on some of the flexible silicone washer hose and ran it under the cowl panel. hides nicely.
