I guess that is the one nice thing about FL. One week after getting my Veloster a truck kicked up a pebble and put a hole through the windshield. No crack, but a damn hole like a bullet. Repair company came to my house and replaced the windshield no charge. However they did manage to break half the clips from the plastic A pillar covers. I'm so glad that this car doesn't have crappy plastic A pillar covers.

Ok, I don't think mine says it. I can snoop around my dealer's lot on Sunday and see if any have it. So if it didn't come with it and I have to replace my windshield, could I have that one put in? Does it really make a difference in the wind noise in real world driving?

Here in Canada, windshield crack is a no-fault which means can claim it on your insurance and your rates will not go up. Also most companies here will eat most of your deductible. My deductible was $500 and my previous car needed a windshield replacement worth $500+. It only cost me $180 since the car also had automatic sensing wiper which added to the overall cost.

Are you sure about this? I am in Alberta and couple years ago I canceled my glass insurance with my car insurance because they did let me know that my rates would increase if I use it. My deductible was $250 and the windshield on our Suzuki was $258 including tax.... :gossip:

Just found out I have a crack on my windshield the size of a quarter today... I remember a truck or bus kicking up a rock and hitting my windshield, but I didn't see any damage. You know why? Because it was on top of my registration sticker! Made an appointment for tomorrow. I have Glass Coverage with USAA, but it only covers repairable damage, and not full glass.

Mine goes to Safelite tomorrow for a windshield replacement. No cost to me with insurance, but $538.95 would have been the cost. 90 minutes for replacement.
