I've always done 20% - it depends on the cop/town etc. But 5% is definitly ballsy.
I used to have 5% with 35% windshield on my truck. Loved it, actually I liked it better at night because oncoming traffic didn’t seem to blind me as much. Tint shop wouldn’t do a full windshield no more so had to settle for “eyebrow” strip on the car. Probably going to get it removed and find a shop to do a full windshield35?? So your going to find a shop willing to break the law, nice. You do realize if you do get ticketed the shop can be had libel as well. Is it really worth it?
First I wouldn’t throw a shop under the bus for doing what I knew was not legal. Secondly I do believe it is worth it
