Had mine done 20% and nothing on the windshield. Had to get a letter from my eye doc so I don't get busted for it. I also am getting my money back from my pretax medical spending account since it is medically required due to photo-phobia.
What do you do when you get out of the car? Put sunglasses on right?

I would think the same rule would apply while you are in the car as well or am I missing something?

Thinking about going 20% all around but it'd be illegal where I live.

I did 5% for the back and sides and 15% on the front windows, looks great. Getting my windshield done 55% next week.

How good is the vision looking out of that 5% back?

I don't mind it at all, but i have always done my rears like that. It probably takes a bit to get used to if you have never had it before but I just love the look. You always run the risk of getting your balls broken about it but thats all part of the experience haha

Fine during the day, scary at night (especially if car isn't equipped with back-up cam). I had 5% all around my 07 WRX. Lived in southern AZ at the time, so it was kind of necessary. Also, cops wouldn't hassle you there; got pulled over plenty of times for speeding and they would ignore the obviously illegal tint.

I went with 20% on both my STI and on this car, and it seems to be just right, although it's still illegal where I live now.

I do want to maintain good visibility looking out. Since 32% is the maximum legal amount here in Georgia, I am going with 35% and hope I don't get bothered by cops. "Ain't nobody got time for that".

I went with CarbonXP 45%. It is really 40% and then the factory tint lowers it a bit.... plus, I have ebony interior.

It looks classy to me... plus, legal here in md.

At night I can see out of it perfectly. Not tested the claims on heat penetration and so forth... top is always down right now. Great weather.

My interior is Raven (for the 50th AP). The cooled seats don't do much on a hot Georgia day. I'm hoping the max legal tint will help with the heat.

Just tell the place no receipt and they will normally do it darker. I'm not a fan of 5% all around bc it looks too ghetto fabulous but i think 15 or 20% all around looks nice. When the front windows are lighter than the rest it always looks kinda weird to me. Llumar is good stuff, i had it on cars before. My favorite tint I've had was Huper Optik ceramic on my S2000; it had such a cool color to it, it kinda looked grey with a hint of blueish in the right light, and man it blocked the sun great.

I think I am going to get 60%. NY legal limit is 70, and I doubt any cops will be able to tell the 10% difference.

Picked mine up before lunch. Llumar 35% Ceramic..... Wow!! What a difference in the temp inside the car. 85 degrees and bright sunshine. Can't wait to go for a long sunny drive and see how this does.

Plus it looks great!
