Hi Guys,
My windows on my 2016 Mustang 5 litre have failed to open/close, a friend told me that this was a common problem and wonder if this is true?
My Local Ford Rallysport dealer had a go at fixing them, changing the control panel on the door but to no avail and has now given up on the problem!
Any ideas? Or who to go to in the U.K/

Best
Richard

The window motor inside the door gets wet and will either only partially work or completely stops working. The problem will likely go away, albeit temporarily, when the weather gets warmer or you'll have to remove and dry out the motor or replace it.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the tips, but in the end my brother who is an electronic expert diagnosed the fault and found it to be a high resistance fuse who's pins were corroded a clean up with a wire brush and the windows were working again, he thought it strange there was a fuse for the door control panel (10 amp) and one each for the window motors (20 amp), shame my Ford dealer did not check the fuses as they diagnosed a new door control panel at a cost of £127 an £90 to fit then gave up when they did not work!
