Does anyone know if the S550s measurements include the side mirrors or not? If it doesn't include the mirrors does anyone know how long the mirrors are?

L188.3 x W75.4 x H54.4 in

One side of my garage is smaller and (92 inches wide) and it's going to be a tight squeeze if it doesn't include the mirrors.

From the GT350 thread, there was a picture of it on a transporter and it appeared that the mirrors were folded in ... if this helps you out.

Pictures were in 1st post of this thread ...

... but they have been removed.

As far as I know Mustang has never had folding mirrors, but they are almost a must for a "global" market vehicle.

I don't think the measurements include the mirrors but stangsRme is right, the side mirrors definitely do fold. We've seen it in a few pics already.

You can see the guy folding them out at 00:50 here.

Good info and thanks..I'm guessing this will be for the euro market. It's going to suck to get outside every time I pull out of the garage but I guess that's what it is (depending on the width).

Neither this nor our fusion will fit in the garage. I don't understand why this car is so big, but I guess the width helps at the track. Would be nice if overall it shrunk in overall footprint (length/width) for better DD and fitting in garages/parking spots.

On fords website for the 2014 says 80.1 inc mirrors.
http://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/specifications/exterior/

You can probably add another 1.5" for the S550.

Current Width 73.9 Without Mirrors (80.1 with Mirrors)
S550 75.4 Without Mirrors = 81.6" With Mirrors? However all bets are off with Folding Mirrors which seem to be standard, as noted above - and they might even fit inside the width of the rear hips.

....Its 1.89" wider than our Falcon.

As there has been no mention of foldable side mirrors in any Ford discussion or documents I've seen, it is quite possible this will be a euro-market / export only feature. If this is the case, the likely reason they are on all the prototypes is for all the loading & unloading that these show cars typically go through.

If they DO end up being a std. US market feature, it would be nice.

Heck, many US spec vehicles today have power folding mirrors available so it is possible Ford could offer this as well ... possibly part of the "comfort group", or other high end option.

I sure do hope it comes with power/manual folding mirrors.
My father's F-150 Platinum has power folding mirrors and comes in handy for parking.
I've had too many side mirrors get ripped off while having my car parked at the shopping centers. Bad luck is always around the corner.

It'll definitely have folding mirrors - no real cost prohibition to have them. I'm sure the premium will come with power-folders, but this is just speculation.

Power-folders ftw. Most top-trim Fords already come with them

The stange thing when I was in England last year, we rented several cars over 7 weeks. A Fiesta 3 Door that I So Wish we would get over here, 2 Focus 5 Doors, and an Audi A4. Out of All of them the Only One that had Electric Folding Mirrors was the Fiesta. Both Focus' were well equipped and the Audi was Fully Loaded. Hopefully they will offer Power Folding Mirrors on the 2015 Mustang because Over There especially They are a Must Have.

I would guess that it won't be power folding mirrors. I know it's still early and we may not have seen it all but I haven't seen any pics of the interior with buttons that could be for that purpose. Of course the ones I looked through on Google may not have been for what ends up on the premium package. For the one in the video I posted above the guy just pops it out manually.

Side note - in addition to all the color threads it would be nice if we got all the interior pics in one place too. I had a hard time finding them.
