Trunk Width

Can someone please measure the trunk width for me? i need to find out if a 48" golf bag fits in the trunk. (or in the back seat)

The trunk is 59" at it's widest point, by about 15-17" until the trunk shapes inward after the tire wells.

After that its 39" wide. Total length from back seat to back of the trunk is 39" as well.

I have a Datek bag and it fits fine angled in with the driver, 3 wood, and 5 wood out and laying diagonally across the bag. Drop the back seats and two sets will fit easily.

I carry my Sun Mountain C130 in the trunk diagonally with no problem and I even have the Shaker subwoofer taking up space.

I have a 'Vert and I can easily fit mine and my wife's golf backs, with room to spare. The Fastback is even larger. you should have no problem with golf clubs in this car.
