There's plenty, conti dws06+, michelin pilot sport, and the gforce comp2 that I went with to name a few. They're just expensive

It is... I preferred the look and feel of 19s but tire selection sucks, so I traded for 20s. 3x the tire selection at 2/3 the price lol. Finding 200TW all seasons will still be a challenge.. ;)

What width rim in inches do yall run for 315 wide rear tires?

im specifically talking about 20” rims, 35 profile, basically stock 20” option with wider rims

i plan on running a 305-325 area tire, im looking at one option for 315, i read online they recommend a 12” rim but thats huge, ive seen posts where its possible but id prefer some better clearance

i plan on running street tires, possibly all seasons/200w tires if that matters
I run 19x11s on all four edges, Michi 4PS 315s. SVE SP2s (discontinued wheel from LMR) pics in my profile are of when I ran 295s which just looked a wee bit weird

I meant all seasons or 200w tires for winter/summer seasons, as im not convinced just all seasons will be enough in summer and i refuse to go drag pack

So i assume 315 will be fine? Dsw06+ makes a 315/35/20 for about 300$ a tire, i can always change the speedometer for the diameter change

GT350R runs 315/30 on 19 x 11.5 rear, 305/30 w/19 x 11 front.

Why are you adamant about the aspect number being 35? I'm running 305/35/20 and it's over an inch taller than "stock height", but as I had mentioned before, I preferred the look and feel of 19s, that's why I chose not to go to a 30 aspect. You're going even taller.. 315/30 will still be taller than stock if you don't like that rubber-band look.

Don't plan on swapping tires seasonally with one set of wheels. You'll want to kick yourself in the nuts (luckily I'm not that flexible). A set of wheels for summer tires and a set for "winters" is the way to go, takes an hour in the garage to swap wheels rather than needing to haul wheels and tires around for mounting.

I'm around maybe 650ish WHP with a PD blower... Conti ECS at 305 wide could sometimes hang onto 3rd at 60MPH but wasn't very confident. Now running 555R2s and they seem to grab there pretty okay when warmed. Depending how long it lasts, I'm not convinced to sticking with them. The DWS06s won't hold up to WOT under 80MPH, but I'm 275 wide on my winter wheels.

Conti makes a dsw06+ all season in the specific size 315/35 300$ or 305/30 370$ a tire. Id rather a wider tire at a cheaper price. Id also prefer to make sure my diameter wheel will be correct with speed, depending on if go to forscan or not is not a big deal. Its not so much about the profile as much as it is fitment as im 1” lowered, on drag springs. I want no issues with fitment.

im definitely buying two rear rim sets, for now i want to have a plan for which tire setups to put on supposed wheels which mainly i had a problem with what width rim, as i read 12” is best for 315 but 12” wide will be tight for fitment

Currently im ess, 680whp ish, manual trans non pp gear ratio, my second gear almost never spins (40 roll, 50 roll, 60 roll, 70 roll, 80 becomes 3rd gear for me) with my stock 265 all seasons that come with the 20” rim package. I always have people not believe me but it is what it is. My plan is to have an as good as possible all season to get me by winter, and a solid street tire that i can drive in wet or dry summer when i eventually go e85 and make 850-900whp

You're probably going to have rubbing issues being lowered, pushing limit of the width that will fit, and on top of that increasing diameter almost 2 inches. That 10mm tread width increase won't even be realized. If you want it to fit and they don't have a 315 30 option, when the wheel rubs that $70 savings isn't going to mean much. If those are your two options I'd go with the 305/30 or see if Michelin has their AS in that size.

Your power comes in very slow (I realize it's centric but still) or torque limiters aren't letting you have it all. The DWS06 is really good all season but it's still an all season tire.

I'm also MT82D4 with the 3.55. You've got bigger balls than me revving that high lol. I'm sure I'd wring it out a bit more racing but I'll start 60MPH in 3rd. 2nd is useless if I'm not pedaling.

Yea, pd vs centri is a world a difference for traction, its one of the main reasons i went centri, so i could kind of make big power but not use drag packs.
8000 rpm is fine, even more so when you go opg.
im aware the all season doesnt compare, but honestly it actually seems to work for my setup extremely well for 93 pump gas, im aware it will definitely not work for e85 power though but for winter, its gonna be my best option

il probably go the 305 option first, check clearances, and if it is fine then swap to the 315, but honestly i may just stay the 305, keep the oem diameter, and not deal with coding A corrected speedometer
