Good Lord, does anyone other than professional athletes really pay $6300 for a watch?? I hope it’s 6300 times more accurate than my cell phone!
It's not. It's not even more accurate than a $100 Timex quartz. But that's not the point of mechanical watches. This is actually the last of my grail watches. Just need to sell a few of my current collection to be able to afford it.

Looks like the GT PP1 got bump in the price too from 4k to 6k. PP2 used to cost 6.5k from what I found. I wonder what GT350 would cost now if it was still sold.
Excellent point. Guessing around $70k. Makes the Mach 1 look like a bargain. Oops, wrong thread!

I’ve looked into trading my 2020 PP2 for
a Mach1. For me I don’t see me spending 12k to trade mine for it. The dealer is offering me what I paid for my car in Dec last year.

2020PP2 is an ass kicking, fun machine, thinking you are wise grasshopper :champagne:

A better looking car than the M1.

Cheers

I really do like it for sure. I think I’m done think about trading. It’s the spec car I wanted and it runs and drives great. All the mods I’ve done to it have made even better.

This thread was for folks to bitch about what has now become one of the most popular Mustangs in recent history. Why? Because some folks just like to bitch about anything. Turns out the M1 is a pretty fantastic car. It costs what it costs, period. Like it, buy it. Don't like it, don't buy it.

But that is not your issue (I think). You already have the closest thing to a M1 in a PP2. A modified PP2 at that. So you're just trying to justify the cost difference between the two. So unless you really, really love the history of the Mach 1 or have to have the Tremec and coolers just keep the incredible car you already have. A true first world problem. :giggle: :like:

Judging the value of trading for a Mach 1 can't be done in a vacuum... what you're coming FROM has to have more to do with it.

If you're coming from a 2020 PP2 then all you're really gaining is the transmission, coolers, and decals in a car 1 year newer. Sure there are other less noticeable changes but those are the big ones.

Coming from my 2018 PP1 I'm also getting Magneride, active exhaust, and all the premium package stuff (heated/cooled seats, digital dash, all the "safety" goodies, rev matching, etc.) plus a new car warranty (mine would have expired next month).

So the value of the Mach 1 is definitely different based on those two scenarios.

Excellent point. Value is in the eye of the beholder. I know you posted this on another thread but what is your delta between the 18' PP1 and your new (eventually) M1.

I did not have the 2018 paid off so the comparison that would affect our daily finances is the loan payment. The M1 will have a new loan of the same term as the 2018 for an extra $108 per month. To me that's well worth all the extra goodies and a new warranty.
