Why no Horsepower / Torque indication in Track Apps?

I've seen DPIC gauges( http://www.jegs.com/i/Auto-Meter/105/6180/10002/-1?parentProductId= )that provide a lot of the information that the Track Apps seems to provide such as 0-60, lateral G's 1/4 mile time etc., but why would horsepower and torque be left out? It might not be a necessity but I think it would be a pretty addition to Track Apps.

HP/TQ indicators don't really mean anything.

My guess is because there is no accurate way to calculate it from within the car, unless you just want a rough calculation based on average HP on a stock motor based on what gear and RPM etc.

The equation for HP is quite simple and could be calculated by the car's onboard systems. HP is calculated by knowing the time it takes to move a known weight over a known distance.

It's already there. Go to the gauges menu and then it's the line under the oil pressure. When you select it and push the right keypad button on the steering wheel it'll bring up a temperature gauge.

The gauge the non-PP cars don't have is the oil pressure gauge. Would've been nice of Ford to include a virtual one like they did with the oil temp.

It's just like the digital speedo-just would take a little programming. I can't imagine it would be that hard to copy Dodges "SRT Pages" and include the hp/tq etc. Come on Ford lol

Too many ppl would be blowing up ford's phones complaining that they aren't making as much power as advertised, or as much as some friend of theirs so there must be some problem with the car

It's not that hard to do it. Just save a graph of the dyno chart and measure vacuum level to determine the load on the engine and display the torque level. Honestly, I don't care.

Yep, I know about the virtual oil temperature gauge, but it would be nice to have actual numbers on it instead of color ranges. And yes, for sure a virtual oil pressure gauge would be nice on the non-PP cars instead of just seeing "Normal" on the readout.
