The most important question I can think to ask you is which of your cars is more fun to drive and why?I have an Oxford White '15 GT premium and a '14 Arctic White C7. Both have about equal amounts of orange peel. As mentioned above, all production cars are going to have some degree of O.P. since they are not wetsanded by hand to remove the last 4 coats of clear that were never applied. ;)
The thread on Corvette Forum raged on and on about it, but I think the real take away here is that if you're that anal about it you should have the car custom painted and lighten your wallet considerably. It seems that's the only way some people will be happy.
I'm very OCD on my paint, but I have learned that I am not going to solve the O.P. problem because an aftermarket custom $10k+ paint job on a production car would be silly, in my opinion. If it shines and is uniform in color and texture and takes a sealant evenly I am okay.
Also, this begs pictures!!!
