Wow. Lotsa good opinions!

Gotta say, however, the spoiler obviously has no benefits for anything more than looks. Weight? Drag reduction or handling? It's a Mustang. Not quite relative.

I will say that the guys that like them obviously didn't fall for the performance package delete option. Let's pay money for ugly, black wheels and no spoiler I get no credit for......ok. I am in!

Next.

Hey now, some of us like the black wheels and lack of a vestigial spoiler. :)

It's a less harsh way of saying functionless lol...
Got it. Old age does this?

ves·tig·i·al
veˈstij(ē)əl/

adjective: vestigial
forming a very small remnant of something that was once much larger or more noticeable.

It make big horsepower and chicks dig it.
Seriously though, the factory S550 spoiler looks sticky taped on, is non functional and hinders installation of a better one. I'm not putting on plastic chrome door handle covers either or B pilar trim or fake fender vents.
Man I love that wing spoiler in the oicture you posted...

I looked at some two-dimensional wind tunnel simulations for the 2015. With and without the spoiler. The tiny spoiler only became somewhat effective at speeds above 80 mph, if then. Consider the factory spoilers only as a design modification not a mechanical assist. You would a much larger spoiler to get a real aerodynamic effect.

It does look cleaner without the spoiler, I'm getting the delete option on mine but I do like the Roush spoiler so far, so I will probably add that when I can afford it

Just got mine and glad the PP deleted it. First thing I mentioned to the wife, was hoping we could delete the spoiler. Seems more like something that a 4 or 6 cyl guy would want to spruce up and make others think its a GT. Just my 2 cents, but I've always been a sleeper guy. Kinda guy that'd debadge the whole thing and slap eco boost license plate frames on.....

Well, sleepy guy, your GT with no spoiler and black 19" wheels resembles the 6 cyl more than my 20" polished/ spoiler GT.

Just sayin.....;)
The performance package equipped GT, six speed, with nothing other than Recarros I picked up screams more about what I expect from a GT and what a GT mustang is about IMHO. Then again tracktime and Autocross take precedent. I can't see how it looks from the inside and choose to spend my money on performance mods not aesthetics and doodads. Only bought it to impress myself, not Starbuckers. The people I know, know the car. I don't need dubs and a spoiler for them to know the car, haha.

Each his own & enjoy. An aesthetics only spoiler and polished 20" wheels on a GT is about as cool as putting a bumpin stereo system in a Ferrari.

The good thing about getting the spoiler is that if you decide to change it to something a bit more aggressive (like the one that Roush has), the holes are already there. You just take the old one off and put the new one on.
