Well there are others here that want the car for more than just going fast. My Fiancee and I love to go on driving trips. We drive to Dinsey World from Michigan every year, we drive to Washington DC, Niagra Falls, Ohiopyle this summer for rafting. I also want something for the annual Woodward Dream Cruise. My first thought was getting a Corvette but now leaning towards the Mustang. Which ever way I go, I want more than just speed. Creature comforts are nice
when you go to disney tell mickey I said hi

I won't be buying for another year or two. Still making payments on my daily driver until the end of this year. As well, I don't have enough room in the garage - I really need to finish my 5.0 RX-7 project. Just too many things to do, too many motorcycles to ride...

I'm still on the fence between a Golf R and Mustang GT PP. Gong to keep my current car for about 1 more year then get one of those....unless something more interesting comes out but I highly doubt it.

I'm waiting for 2016 model year because first model year vehicles almost always have bugs or minor problems and are usually sorted out by the second year. Plus Sync3 will be out and maybe different options.

Bought a Focus as an interim car. Just started a new position at a new company, and I'm getting some other debt under control. I will pay extra to principal on the Focus each month ( I already have an equity position thanks to my trade-in). My hope is that in a year or two we see an upgraded auto trans in the Mustang and maybe some performance tweaks.

I'm not going to hold out forever hoping for the perfect car, but the transmission really is top of the list. If they offer the 10 speed in the GT with Performance Pack, I will sign on the line that is dotted (Glengarry Glenross reference, hehe)

Besides waiting to sell my current car for the down payment, I'm still waiting to see what GM has in store for the '16 Camaro and also any different upgrades/options on the '16 Ecoboost. Maybe they will put the Focus RS engine in the '16 MY?? :D (minus AWD obviously)

Ha, kinda funny I read this as I'm looking for more info on the Camaro. I hate to say this on a great Mustang forum like this but if Chevy gets the interior right on the Camaro then I may have to seriously consider it. I still love the exterior of the Camaro but would never buy one because of the interior. Felt the same way about the S197 Mustangs.

I actually prefer the interior to the Focus ST I owned over the S197 and 5th gen Camaro but now that the S550 is out I could easily see myself in that car. But it'll be very interesting to see how the rivalry heats up again once the Camaro is released. As it stands now, the Mustang is the EASY winner in my opinion compared to the 5th gen Camaro.

Timing wise, it just works out better for me to wait for the 2016. My wife and I will be selling our house and moving away and starting new jobs around June. We plan to sell our current vehicles and once we move she will be getting either a 2015 Explorer or a F150. I plan to order using x-plan from which ever dealer will be giving me a great deal on her vehicle. I'm also hoping for a GT auto with PP.

Yes, the interior is a HUGE part of the decision, along with the looks and options. The latest rumor I hear is possibly the 2.0T engine from the ATS with an obvious power bump. Hopefully we'll get some info before the NYIAS.

I'm only interested in a V8 but I just want more info already! Whichever way I go though I'll be waiting for a '16. The Mustang will have already worked out the "bugs" so that's an advantage but no matter what, I know I'll have a sweet ride that I'm craving.

I still like the Focus RS too but I feel like I want more of an adult sports car.
