Who Names Their Cars and What Is It?

I don't name my cars, but I've taught my son the finer points of comics and video games from the 80's & 90's so he calls my Mustang Scorpion (Mortal Kombat) or Wolverine (X-Men) every now and then

I personally don't name my cars, I think it's silly. My GF however calls it the "Beast" and calls her ride "Sexy"

My fiancé really wanted to name mine “Sass Pants”… which is what she named her horse in Zelda: Breath of The Wild

I was like: how about no

To me it’s just “The Mustang” or “Stang”.

However: my two-year old calls it the “Horse” (because of all the emblems). I try to tell him those are “Mustangs” and he just says “No daddy! Horse!”

I think I started naming them when I joined forums related to individual vehicles. My red lifted Ram was Scarlett and this one became Bullet since it's silver.

We used to call my dad's big silver Oldsmobile Delta 88 "the shark" but I don't give male or female names to my cars. It's just hard for me to think of them that way.

Mine doesn't really have a name but when I first got it my grand daughter called it the mustache. So that gets used once in awhile.

When I'm going somewhere my niece might ask me where am I going and I'll tell her to ask the mustang. LOL

I don't have a name for my 2018, haven't thought of a name that fits her. I did name the 1973 convertible I have started restoring "Kiki", the nickname of the wife (with her permission) of the original owner.

I have owned 5 Mustang GT's over time and they all had the same name. "The Demon"...hence the username. I was surprised it was available when I joined. All started with my all blacked out '88 GT with red driving lights. Awesome at night.
