I drive a 2018 Mustang GT PP. I do not go to the track, or have any mods, per se'.
Albeit, I am curious, what is causing these white marks on the skirting of my car.

I did not have this issue on my 2017. Weird...

Likely wax residue. Sticks out really bad on the plastics.

Try some 303 Aerospace Protectant on it?

This explains it! I had my car waxed a few months ago, and that is when I noticed this.
Seems I need to get a wax cleaner of sorts for it.

Great...

If it's the white residue from wax, a great way to remove it from plastic trim is is one of those brown gum erasers... the type sold in school supply section, then top it off with 303.

Thanks all! I have ordered some 303 all purpose cleaner.
Later today, I will grab an eraser. Here’s hoping I can miss all the kids getting school supplies...!?!

I hate that rough, matte-finish trim for this reason. It always looks dirty or faded. Ford should paint it with high gloss black and clearcoat like the rest of the finish.

Right all, the erasers worked. Then I washed the car, and all looks much better.

Curious, the rubber trim for the doors, where the window comes up, that has a similar white to it, like my skirting did.
A moment ago, I used the erasers on it, too. Is that the best method to clean that rubber seal?

Thanks all...

I'm not sure about the rubber seal/trim. Did it take the white out? If so, then all good. Just keep those rubber door, window, hood and trunk seals treated for longevity. I've been using Mothers VLR on my seals but just ordered some of this to try:

303 makes a similar product for about a buck cheaper but I've been so impressed with the Nextzett Cockpit Premium on my interior that I'm going to give that rubber protectant a try.

Sounds like you need a better waxer touching your car. :)

On my next waxing job, in November (6 months from the last one; or I might wait a year), I will be more specific with who does the job.

I went to a local car wash place, and they offer waxing, too.
Clearly, I have learned a lesson here.
