Wow...that's a new one. I've been detailing for about 20 years and never heard of that. I'm very interested to see if it actually works. I'm assuming it can't be the chunky kind.If it is wax, someone in the BMW forum I used to frequent found that peanut butter took the white from wax off the BMW skirts.

I heard blueberry jelly makes for a good tire dressing. j/kIf it is wax, someone in the BMW forum I used to frequent found that peanut butter took the white from wax off the BMW skirts.
Does it look wet and greasy like Armor-All? I hate that stuff.Chemical guys VRP. I use it about once a month when cleaning. Gets rid of all the white scuffs, and makes the trim look newer than from the lot.
A best of brand product, Oreillys carries it.Mine had a white mark on the passenger side skirt. I cleaned both sides as best as I could during my normal wash process and applied 303 aerospace protectant on them and it seemed to have taken the mark away completely while also restoring the black shine. Hope this helps.
Then what do you use to stop the stray dogs from licking your side skirts? If it is wax, someone in the BMW forum I used to frequent found that peanut butter took the white from wax off the BMW skirts.
I gotta try that stuff.Mine had a white mark on the passenger side skirt. I cleaned both sides as best as I could during my normal wash process and applied 303 aerospace protectant on them and it seemed to have taken the mark away completely while also restoring the black shine. Hope this helps.
I have used peanut butter for that exact purpose and it works well. To avoid the marks in the first place, coat the black surfaces with a protectant such as 303 BEFORE you apply your wax. Then if you do hit them when applying wax to the paint, the protectant will help to keep the wax from bonding to the plastic.
