Anyone setup a valet key for when the wife drives? LOL
Did it to myself inadvertently one time. Was a fun commute to work listening to the chime at 65mph for 56 miles both directions.

Has anyone noticed that car seems like it almost wants to stall right when you start it. My car was warm already and I ran inside quick cuz I was almost late for work. Started the car put it in reverse and before I even let off the clutch the car was bogging down when I noticed my rpms where about 400. I gave her a little gas and after she went right back to normal idle. Is this normal?

mine takes a couple percent throttle on hot starts or it can stutter for a second or two.

Alright cool. I remember reading these coyotes can be a little rough on idle and that's why they went with imrcs on this car. Thanks for the quick response

It takes 10 seconds for the cams to have control. In that 10 seconds, changing loads can have an issue. This has been addressed in later cals.

Did my pulls on a Mustang Dyno and numbers were not that good. However, I have the larger TB on order and when it arrives will install and then get the new tune.

Will do pulls after that and put those numbers down.

Can you tell us the numbers without the throttle body? :)
Also mustang dynos are normally lower than lets say a dynojet.

I recently decided I'm going to be installing a Whipple w/132mm TB later this year. It seems to be the best option aside from going with turbos to reach my goal of 700rwhp, and I've always enjoyed SC cars more. I don't have much 'tuning' knowledge, so I just have a basic question. When I send the PCM back for the re-calibration, will they calibrate it for 93 octane and make any adjustments for the long tube headers that I have on the car in the tune? Or does it just get flashed with a tune for the whipple + stock setup?

By then the header tune should be available, just let them know and that's the tune you will get.

I have heard Mustang Dyno numbers are lower than a Dynojet, but do not have any real proof one way or the other. Maybe someone can respond to that.

My before and after numbers on the same dyno are as follows:

Completely stock: 354 RWHP - 322 RWTQ

With Whipple and their tune at that time: 505 RWHP - 427 RWTQ

So the increases over stock are respectable, however, like everyone else I am looking for more. As soon as the TB comes in and it is installed and new tune is provided I will submit new numbers.

Probably would be about what I'm putting out except I was on a dynojet.

The power delivery in this car is way tame compared to many other cars I have had with similar power which could be good or bad depending on the tastes of the owner.

Have you sent in your computer for new tune?

Those you with headers or cat back on your car, do you still hear the whine of the Whipple inside the car?
If you reply can you mention what headers or cat back?
