We are done to one last issue... it is a start up issue.
Once the car starts, the rpms pop to about 1,500 like they should and then drop to 500 and almost stalls... then comes back to running like it should... within a few more seconds.
Cold start issues can be tuned out via pulse width in water/coolant temp table.I'm running a slightly tweaked Whipple tune. There has been times where if I didn't drive the car over the weekend, come Monday morning on startup the car would have a difficult time with idle for the first minute. There has been times where I even had to give it a little gas to keep it from stalling out for the first 20 seconds or so after start up. This only happens when it's very cold, like between 0 and 25 degrees outside. I'm in PA.
I've also had the issue where it goes from about 1300rpm at idle and drops down to 500ish from before bouncing back. Sometimes it will do it at stop traffic lights within the first mile of driving after start up. Again, only happens in the very cold weather.
