I read through the entire thread and was disappointed that no one has done this... if you are going through all this trouble would you be better off with this? (TREMEC 7-speed dual-clutch) transmission that is in the GT500...
Whipple supercharged Mustang GT convertible ceramic coated Cooks long tube headers with green flow cats, connects to the magna flow stainless steel exhaust system everything professionally installed, remote tune by Lund Racing, I have over 25k in extras in the car… everything is top of the...
Be careful you will be able to pass inspection in your state. I am in NY and had to spend a lot of time and money getting mine to pass... and I ran into a a lot of other people that had to take them off... I went with Kooks with Green flow... I have FI... I would work with a good tuning shop...
is this what you are hearing? https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=5.0+mustang+trubo+sounds&&view=detail&mid=8CADA00609D0B1DC46ED8CADA00609D0B1DC46ED&&FORM=VRDGAR
ebay, amazon just search "drill pump" if you are in a hurry most HW stores have them too... I would get a spare one if you need to count on it... they don't last long. maybe flushing it our with water can help them last longer. However, for ten bucks I don't even worry about it and just keep a...
Lund about three days, and 3V. The car also passed NYS inspection a week later... I was very happy... They make very quick work of it... if everything is working as it should on your car. The trouble that most good tuners run into is "something isn't working as it should" on your car. Then you...
I think this is your best bet, I would also make sure all the lines are flushed out too, before your new install... many shops don't do a good job with this part of the job...
I would change tuners Lund would get back to me on average in less than 2 hours during work hours... and got my car dialed in.., in just 3 tunes over 3 days... and I could also now pass emissions in NYS running LT headers. I used two different tuners before Lund and spent countless hours data...
The whipple kit with all stock parts historically has been the safest fi option in the market.
While the motor is out I would take the time to build it right... figure out your goals and budget... PBD and Lund can give you great advice on this... what state do you live in? If you have Emissions...
I would listen to Lund... they know what they are doing and will keep things safe for you... unless you are a only going to track a car and/or have extra money to burn, why push it... I would rather have less HP and a safer build than more and blow it up... also keep in mind it is more than...
To me it is more about the time or labor cost... al least it is only one side... so it is about half the time to install... I also bet if you call them they will work a deal out with you... especially if you agree to ship the old one back... I would think they would want to see it...
With the Whipple, I know they are very good... I would send them a note, give them all the details of your build and what you have tried... I am sure they will let you know. They told me that they were very confident that they could make it work... but couldn't go as far a as promise me...
SCT 4 is what I used... I did read a good thread on the HP Tuners site... it seemed like they had it figured out.... https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php?50900-2014-Mustang-GT-Readiness-Monitor/page3 it is a very long thread... but had some interesting points...
Lund was able to take care of this VERY quickly for me. Their response time during business hours is VERY fast too, I think they have 5 or 6 full time tuners now... They dialed in the car very quickly and followed a what I would call a safe procedure, while tuning the car... don't get me...
Okay... I changed tuners ... and within three tunes over 8 days... on the final tune it only took 21 miles over two days.... and I didn’t do any drive cycles other than go 40 for about 5 mins and for ten mins at 55...
Everything set that first day other than the O2’s. the O2 set the next...
