question about running whipple tune

currently running gen 5 3.0 stage 2 whipple kit. comes with a programmer that has its own tune.. im currently running catless long tubes. check engine light is on for that reason. I will get another tune or some defoulers soon. saving for upgraded fuel system. my question is why when i turn off traction control in track mode, traction control still kicks in? is it because of the check engine light?

Are you holding the button down until it turns off advance trak or just pressing and releasing it to turn off traction control?

Hold the traction control toggle up for 5-6 seconds until it says "AdvanceTrac" off.

Even though the tcs off lights up automatically when you put it in track mode, you still have to toggle the TCS button to actually disable traction control in track mode. When you toggle it the tcs off light will stay on and it will say tcs off.

You will need to turn the advance trac off to do a pull and not have the car try to pull power out.

Hold the TC for 7-10 sec and it will turn off. Also, if you use sport mode or toggle it to track mode it will show TC is off but the advance trac will still be turned on so you will still need to turn it off

it worked turning off traction control, even though it shows off when switching track mode.. may be from car is 2016 and now has 2018 digital dash
