What type of reduction of IAT temps would you expect to see with the CJ upgrade? Are their any other benefits? How much larger is the core itself?
thanks-

Depends the size of ice tank but You’ll never see temps more than 20 degrees over ambient. I have mine setup Ice tank-Intercooler-oversized HE-ice tank. Brick itself is an additional inch thicker than the regular brick. If you want the lowest IAT’s street/strip go with it.

with an ice tank and cj setup with no HE, you should see very low temps

For a mainly street/occasional strip car, is it better to run with or without the HE?
Are you going to have the CJ lid upgrade on sale for 4th of July?

The occasional trip to get ice cream or short cruise you’d be ok without the HE, but any type of spirited street driving your gonna want a HE. A dedicated drag car and ice is fine, but street car you’ll want some type of HE. I have an hr one way to the track and like cruise and hit up Mexico once in awhile.
I run the Whipple Oversized HE, pic below.

Does that fit under the stock hood? Did it require adjustable height motor mounts?

This is only draw back on the setup besides cost, it will not fit under a stock hood, requires more under the hood room with whatever choice of cowl hood or adjustable height motor mounts.
