That is a good question. I wouldn't see why not. All you're utilizing is a USB port and a Windows OS to run the software.

I don't think that will work. Need laptop or PC.

As long as it's not a windows rt tablet. If you can run any normal windows program on the tablet, then it'll work fine for the whipple flare program.

I used the whipple flare on my surface pro 3, which is a (high end, admittedly) windows tablet, and it worked just fine.

I can tell you from experience YES as long as it running actual Windows it will work. I was able to use the Flare program on my Windows Surface Tab 3.

However, my brand new Surface tab was a massive waste of money. I switched to Mac years ago and the only reason I bought the ST was because I thought I needed Windows to program my car as SCT and others only run on Windows. about 3 months after buying it (and using it maybe 5 times) the hunk of junk shit the bed and along with it went my calibration file and now I couldn't load the file on another computer.

So, learn from me and do yourself a favor and make sure you back up the file AFTER it has been loaded and modified via Flare so you can reopen to make changes on another computer if this happens to you as well.

Luckily Whipple not only makes top notch superchargers the are smart enough to make Flare Mac compatible. I got Microsoft to grant my request to return for refund (luckily they couldn't fix the pos either) and I promptly bought a new MacBook and after getting and re-flashing a new emailed calibration I am back up and running.

so after this long story, it WILL work on full Windows Tabs........ I just do not recommend them lol

It will run as long as it is running an x86/x64 Windows OS.

I have it already on a laptop. I just don't want to carry a laptop In the car to make changes. If I could get a tab small enough to fit in glove box I would be happy. Prolly won't happen. Whipple just needs to make an app for my iPhone!!!

Look at Ematic or WinBook tablets. Very, very cheap.
