Whipple got delivered today along with some other goodies. The only problem is I wont have the car till the end of January lol. Had a procharger on my 15 and I really wasnt impressed with the power delivery. Even after I gated it and pulley down to 13psi. I felt like it was missing something. So I figured a PD blower/whipple would be what i was looking for. Cant wait to get the car and be back In a mustang. Any pointer or tips are welcome...

Thanks
Joe

Congrats! Youre going to love it. The power delivery is awesome and it feels good knowing you can kill almost any other car on the road

You have just entered heavens gates...loves those boxes when they arrive. The Gen 5 is a cut above the rest and wish that was available for the 15-17's. Winter project's is how a survive long hard winters in northern Maine. keep us posted on your progress.

I cant wait, I know there have been some issues with the 18 motors. Hopefully it's fixed for 19. My plan because of the motor is to go a little slower then I want. So if there is no snow or salt on the ground. I'm gonna drive it like I stole for 500 to 1000 as fast as possible. Dump the oil cut filter open if everything is ok no metal. Then the whipple is going on. Then the car will get put away till April After That. Then drive till the end of fall next year. Hopefully have a few thousand on her. I'll cut the filter open again. If all is good then I'm gonna do LTH with green cats, OPG/CG, and PBD tune. I want to do it all when I get the car but not gonna lie the new motor has me a little nervous...

Very nice, I'm jealous.
Dog just ruptured his ACL so that just took a big chunk of my Whipple mod money, lol. Slight set back..
Post some pics/videos as you go..

Looks like fun! Curious to hear your thoughts on the differences between the two superchargers.

I'm definitely gonna tell my opinion on both. I can tell you the charger it self is high quality. IMO best quality supercharger I've seen. Dont get me wrong the procharger is a nice system but I think quality wise whipple is next level.

I had a D1SC before the turbos and I really enjoyed it. If I had ordered it brand new and specced out as I had originally intended, I'd have probably kept it.

But I got it used with straight cut gears and it was so damn loud all the time lol.

I like the loud supercharger lol my 15 car had 751whp at it peak before I got rid of it. It was a beast up top just never had the low end grunt I was looking for. Not even when I had it gated.

Sounds like it's a ways off, but in for track numbers.

My advice is to read the instructions, do as much pre assembly as possible, and read the instructions again. If you have a vin, you can go ahead and get the cal now as well. It takes a day or 2 to get.
