Still curious about the graph and why the lines don't intersect properly ;)

Then what we could do is set you up with a Whipple "Tuner" kit, which is just the blower itself, and add the Lund tune. I would definitely recommend the Whipple throttle body for reasons stated by Dustin. You are giving up 40+ HP by using the stock throttle body even at lower boost levels, and the difference only grows when you start raising the boost. With your current set up and the Whipple with larger t/b and Lund tune, I would say you'll be closer to 700+ rwhp unless you decide to run lower boost. They all pique my interest
My biggest question is I already have a BAP and injectors, don't care about colors (black car anyway). Goal is 650rwhp. Do I need the bigger TB or is stock fine? I have a tune for LTs off-road, 170 stat. Does the Whipple calibration account for those things or is the Lund tune needed to take advantage of those? Also are the dual fans really needed?

I personally can't answer that but the car runs close to 140 mph like a 850 rwhp, 3800 lb car should!Still curious about the graph and why the lines don't intersect properly ;)

Whipple Tune with 132MM TB and dual fan upgrade in a auto with 3:55 gears. Pulled 651 rwhp @ 10.9psi boost and drives better than it did stock. Whipple hands down on this setup is amazing for a DD and I went with their warranty.
We had a team of transmission experts developing the cal. After the supercharger model and torque model was completed on the engine, we did the auto trans cal. I don't know if there is anything like it. The trans cal is extremely complicated, but because ours has the supercharger modeling on, its helping predict the amount of pressure applied, how to engage the clutches, what the proper shift times are, etc. So yes we certainly modify the pressures, but far, far more than that. When I bought my JLT N/A Auto 3:15 gear tune
the dood that sold me the tune did a bunch of AT parameter work on it for his customers,I have a fun time and get rubber in 3 gears...
Does Whipple and or Lund tweek the tranny for harder shifts or any other adjustments ? Adding 250% more HP/TQ will def need some tranny work I would guess
Yes he does and 3.75" SCP. It's also an auto trans which has slightly more RW loss than a manual.Do you have the latest tune? Also, what size pulley are you running?

7400, same as the manual. What are the auto's shifting at with your new tune?
You should be looking at huge gains! I am on the same "old" tune as you and I'm at 705rwhp. I would expect you to be in excess of my numbers with the "new" tuneJust Flashed mine with the latest auto cal. Hopefully get on the Dyno soon and get back to you guys with some numbers. Made 642/501 on the old cal.

What dyno, weather conditions, or corrections are being used? All these variables could explain the difference between your numbers and his.You should be looking at huge gains! I am on the same "old" tune as you and I'm at 705rwhp. I would expect you to be in excess of my numbers with the "new" tune
