Folks,

Getting ready to purchase a cut and clamp X pipe for my 2018 GT. I've narrowed it down to the Flowmaster Scavenger and Ford Performance X pipe. Both are made of 409 stainless steel, but the FM lists 2.5 inch tubing while the Ford Performace lists 2.75 inches. From what I've read and heard, seems the Flowmaster is a bit louder and raspier (maybe because of that unique center chamber?) which is what I'm going for but I wanted to get some second opinions from some of y'all. What do you think?

Don’t waste you’re money on an expensive X pipe! I purchased the second up from the cheapest on American muscle and it fits like a glove. I’d only go 3in X pipe if you plan to upgrade to a 3in axle back later but if you’re anything like me, it sounds absolutely perfect with just the x pipe on the 2018.

Both of them are in the $250 range which I'm okay with spending; I just noticed the Steeda X pipe though, and it's made of 304 stainless AND only 125 bucks. Hmmm...decisions, decisions!

Neither. Get the Summit Racing stainless steel one. It has slip joints at both ends so it will seal much better.

I bought the M-5251-M8 about 2 years ago for $189 shipped off Ebay. Looks Like Don Wood has them for $197.
