I don't think the FG2 ICC supports playing aac files unless it's through an iPod, but Sync definitely does.
I recently loaded up a USB drive with my music; found out that any copy protected .m4p files that I bought on ITunes wouldn't play on Sync (of course it will through Bluetooth on my IPhone). I had a couple hundred of these; it is possible to re download now that Apple is selling without rights management, but that would take forever. Bought a program called TunesClone to convert all to .mp3 and replaced both in my ITunes library and the USB drive. Now my whole library is available in the Mustang or on any device I choose to use!

I'm not usually a fan of Harvey Norman (due mainly to the founder's incessant whining about GST on imports), but they currently have a great deal on three of the 32GB version of this drive for $36.

Bargain!
Are three enough for all your Elton John tunes...:eyebulge:

Ps...I feel exactly the same about Hardly Normals...another whining multi millionare...."my 500 metre long boat is just not big enough...give me more money".

I only have the single 64B drive at the moment (complete with chewed thumbnail).

That should hold not only my vast Elton collection, but also significant quantities of Billy Joel, Hall & Oates and Culture Club to boot!

Honestly, I've got a 32GB that's not even half full and it just becomes a pain trying to find anything on there :)

I think I'll have to put some directories in there to divide it up a bit rather than all the albums in the root...

Why not just let it all play? Because I have plenty of songs that will cause offence for my wife and daughter :)

i moved all my itunes playlists to spotify (i found a free website that migrates them). so i've ditched itunes and play music in my car via spotify on my iphone. i've always got my music with me on my phone and i can update my playlists on my phone or my pc. if i'm out somewhere and hear a good song i can use shazam to tell me what the song is and add it to a playlist on the fly. when my stang arrives i'm planning to continuing accessing my music via spotify on my iphone.

i haven't figured out exactly what the sync3 spotify app will do for me. i guess it presents the spotify interface on the car's screen so i don't need to touch the phone. i wasn't planning to dump music on a memory card to plug into the car. maybe i'm missing something but i don't see what the benefit is and you have the pull the card out all the time to add new music?
