Wow. I thought it would be much closer given the ā€˜16 has recaros, aftermarket catback and American racing wheels with new tires.

seems like most enthusiasts upgrade their mustangs w/ wheels and tires to get a better performance and stance.
Mods are a personal preference thing. If you love those wheels, the Recaros, and the exhaust, then definitely it makes sense to consider value for them. Personally, I wouldn't want 20 inch wheels with that much stagger, but if the exhaust was a nice Borla or Corsa catback with no drone, I would consider that a big plus.

Hey everyone Iā€™m looking hard between two mustangs:

2016 Gt with PP with 30k miles for 26k
-Has new American racing wheels and nitto G2 305/35r20 on the rear 255/35r20 fronts
-Axle back exhaust
-tint
-Recaro seats

OR

2019 Gt with PP and 7500 miles. Has active exhaust. No recaros.

I canā€™t decide between the two! Both are original owner. Which would you guys buy? Oh and I have sat in the recaros, I like them but donā€™t have to have them
Neither.
I'd go for a New '20.
Nothing like having a new car and probably would be a
better price between new and used.
'sides, I don't want a car someone else has 'dogged around'(?)

The 19 and don't look back, those 3 years are worth the $6k over the 16 to me. The 16 is out of warranty, so if something breaks immediately, it's on your dime.

does it have CarPlay? if not can it be added?
Some late production 16s work from the factory, but you just need to upgrade the USB port in the center console and CarPlay works. A dealership charges $300-400 for this, but itā€™s super easy to do yourself and the USB port is like $40 if you look around. The 16 MY was the first Mustang with Sync3, and Apple CarPlay (Usb upgrade required) + Android Auto came in the first Sync3 update 3-ish months after the 16 went on sale.

Black looks awesome when detailed and polished.... for about 12 hours... LMFAO (owner of prior black vehicles, so Iā€™m not being biased).

As others have said, definitely the 19, unless youā€™re emotionally attached to the 2015-17 exterior styling.

Mods do not add value to any Mustang, in fact most people lose their asses on the resale of a vehicle, where they spent a great deal of money ā€œmoddingā€ to their hearts desire. Mod money is almost never recouped.

Also to note, some buyers shy away from mods, specially mods where a turbo, supercharger or Nos was added.... Why was forced induction added? To go fast and hard... period. Anyone who says they added forced induction to drive grandma to the grocery store is kidding themselves...

With that said, I wouldnā€™t even let ā€œmodsā€ be a deciding factor in any vehicle purchase.

6 grand price difference
For 6k more it is a no brainer unless the 6k will cut your finances too deep.

What about how you will use it, street, regular or occasional track or drag?

You guys think 32k is fair for a ā€˜19 with performance package and 8k miles?

I'm no expert on the current COVID Mustang market but that sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I would double-check to make sure it's a clean title / CarFax especially if it's not CPO. You may be able to shop around nationwide and find comparable listings to use as bargaining leverage with whoever you're looking to buy the 19 from.

What package is it: 300a, 301a, 400a, or 401a?
ummmm itā€™s a base with the performance package. Not a premium package-no leather or heated and cooled seats also no electronic dash....

Does it have the larger infotainment W/ the touch screen or the tiny one? Does it have the drive mode toggles?
What about the 16?
