Which GT350 would you buy?

Humble 2 cents: owned a 2016 and now a 2019. No break in between. So, have had a GT350 continuously since April 2016. Recommend the 2019.

I'd go '17. It has 10k miles on it, any motor issues should be sniffed out and fixed by now. That's a big $ difference between the two. Throw it around and enjoy.

It definitely isn’t a small amount. I could grab a warranty and still have almost 10g left over

The performance envelope is higher on the 2019+ since all the systems (magride/abs) are set up for a stickier tire. That only matters if you track the car or drive quick on backroads/canyons.

That question has been kicked around since the introduction of the 2019 model year.
Did the ‘19 MO have upgrades/improvements? Yes it did but not just the engine.
Personally, I’d go with the ‘19 as I had a trouble free ‘19 for three years. My ‘19 was a retirement car that I had no plans to sell. Life changes and relocation changed our plans and I sold it.
If I moved back to a fair weather state, I’d probably buy another low mileage ‘19 or ‘20 before I unpacked.

Anecdotally on here the 2017s seem to have the most problems so I'd get the 2019 for that reason especially considering you're planning to keep it a long time.

The number of problems per year seems to go 2017, 2018, 2016, 2019/2020.
