Which catback should I get?

I’m looking for a more mild volume catback. The ones I’m currently trying to decide between are the solo performance Mach xv, borla touring, awe touring, and arh. Which is the quietest and which is the loudest? Which should I get? And is there any notable quieter exhausts that I should be looking at (besides magnaflow street)?

Only one I have any idea is the Borla touring, and I trust Borla because I have used them so much. For anything louder, my MBRP street sounds good, but drones (previous owner put it on). Prob going to swap to a Borla S type soon. I know the lower end Corsa is comparative to the S Type, but maybe higher pitched. And then you have the Corsa Extreme, MBRP Race and Borla Atak to make your neighbors hate you.

Borla touring if im not mistaken is the S type mufflers with a resonator. If you wanted it louder just swap out the resonator for an X or H pipe.
If i was in your position i would just get the axleback and leave the resonator alone. Throw some s stypes on for about 800 bucks VS the Catback for 1300.

Any reason for wanting Catback as opposed to just axleback? If the goal is just a mild sound increase that seems to be the best bang for buck option.

I had the ARH H pipe catback before I added ARH headers and their catted x-pipe. I thought it sounded great and fitment was perfect. I would say it is on the quieter end of the spectrum but still a nice bump from stock (which is entirely way too quiet and tinny in my opinion)

I can only speak about what I have used & that is the Borla. I have installed Borla exhaust on a sports car, SUV & Mustang (two street & a race car). They are not just 'noise makers' as they will give you a power increase ... 14+ hp & 25+ lb/ft of torque on mine. I am currently using the S-type w/Borla resonator. IMO, it provides a nice outside note (not raspy) w/minimal in-cabin resonance. With all that said, the Borla is one of the more expensive systems out there. No matter what exhaust system you choose, try to get some power figures to justify the expense.

Awe touring. It checks all your boxes. I’d say it’s a little louder than a “mild volume” catback but that’s subjective. Fit and finish is top notch and drone is nonexistent. Plus, the kit comes with a blow pop

But if you’re looking for a catback that’s more on the quiet side of mild volume kits, I’d look elsewhere.

Well I’m going for an NA build but I’m not going to do headers until I relocate so I want a catback to eventually have a full exhaust

Others with more knowledge might know better but it was my understanding the stock system flows pretty well. After you do headers the rest of the system is pretty decent.
if you were to do axleback then x/h how much different is it then just full catback? As in power wise for n/a how much will you see? I’m going to guess negligible. And doing it that way saves a few bucks for more mods!

IMO the first question to ask yourself is what series material ?
300 series SS = no rust
Or
400 series SS = light layer of surface iron oxidation

I feel like I’d care less about oxidation than sound but obivously if that was the only determining factor, I’d buy the 300

Magnaflow is 400 series.

I would not call AWE Touring mild. I cut off my Corsa mufflers of my Xtreme catback but kept the double x and added AWE Touring mufflers and its a louder setup that the original Corsa. Sounds great but I would not recommend it if you're looking for quiet.

I have a Thermal R&D on order. Like the throaty rumble, no drone, not obnoxiously loud, near 100%+ feedback, and overall fit and finish.

Like nearly all aftermarket low restriction cat backs, should be good for some extra HP and torque too.

Does anyone have an opinion on the solo performance touring? what’s the volume like? I love the tone and the price to quality but I’m worried about the volume
