Hi everyone!

I just took delivery of my new GT350. I'm so excited I can't even believe it is already here.

However, in the country I'm in (Chile) I require the engine number to register the car. I tried looking everywhere but could not find it.

I'd appreciate some guidance or help of where/how I can get the number.

Thank you very much!

Crawl under the car where the engine block is, and look up on the passenger side, you'll see it there. I saw it there just last night when cleaning the underside of the car.

Thanks for the info! Do I require to raise the car or should I be able to see the number with it at ground level?

If you succeed without lifting the car, you're my hero. :D

I think maybe it has been too long of a winter in the "Belle Province" as the engine VIN for these cars is located on a block pad on the drivers side with the transmission VIN located on the casing block pad on the same side.;)

The engine VIN will start out with a "G" for 2016 MY and then a "5" designating the Flat Rock assembly plant and then the final 6 digit sequence code.

"G5XXXXXX"

I've been pretty bored during the winter, but never 'cleaning the underside of the car' bored.
