Can anyone confirm the wheel paint code for 2016 GT350, I was told it was Ebony Black, paint code M6373. I recently got the tires changed and they chipped the paint on one of my wheels. I wasn’t too worried about it, so I thought I would just get some touch up paint. I went to a auto body place and the mixed me up a bottle of M6373. I painted the chip and let it dry and it’s not even close. It appears to almost be a gloss black while my wheels are like a matte black or dark matte grey.
Any info or help would be great
Thanks

I am also curious about getting the proper touch up paint. Did you check with a ford dealer? I believe M6373 is the code for ebony mustang gt wheels which do appear to be more glossy.

I recently went through this same situation, and the way I understood it was that the ebony black wheel touch up paint was a match for the gloss black Performance Package wheels that are on the regular GT.

So I found a post from a while back where the guy used some VHT wheel paint in satin black from the local auto parts store so I did the same. Sprayed a little out on a piece of cardboard and used a small touch up paint brush to fill the chip. I don't have any pictures on me but the color matched up pretty dang close! I still need to go back over it with a few more coats to thicken it up to bring the paint level up closer to the original paint so its not as noticeable.

I had a tiny chip on one of the edges of my spokes. I just put some gloss black touch up on it........Good luck finding it. If I wanted it a little bit better, I'd go to Walmart and get a Matte Black bottle of Dupli Color touchup paint.

Checked the paint pen that I have for my wheels that I purchased last year due to a scratch.
Ebony Wheel M6373-W
The kit that I ordered came with the base coat paint pen, clear coat pen and acrylic. The pain matches as best that you are going to get. You have to look really close at me wheel after doing the base and clear coat to see any difference.

Trust me on this one guys, VHT wheel paint in satin black is about as close as your gonna get to match the factory wheel color.

I'll try to get a picture of my chip that I filled with it later.

They’re just wheels...don’t be a female...black Audi touch up paint (dr color chip ly9b) I had on hand...any black will suffice...unless you’re the elton John type.

Are these wheels on these cars more of a grey? Mine as shown in the original post look grey and not black.

I purchased this from eBay. I was pleasantly surprised how close it matched. Unfortunately, mine is inside the barrel of the wheel so I can't really show what it looks like. I was leery at first considering the price but deciding to get it anyway.

Did you have to apply a clear coat after? I assume it’s only base for that price?
