On my '17 EB/PP with Steeda Progressives I used SVE S350 wheels (19x10 +40 offset) squared on Indy 500s (275/40/R19) as my summer setup. Regarding my new '17 GT Non-PP w/stock ride height and with no intentions of lowering it, I've got a few questions:

1. Would I have any issues using the same setup on my GT?
2. Regarding aspect ratio and the stock ride height, should I consider using a 35 or even a 45 series tire, or stick with 40s?
3. How exactly does offset affect tire choices on S550s?

Thanks!! :)

There's exactly zero difference within the wheelwells of your non-PP GT vs your EBPP. The wheel arches and liners are the same. The hubs and brakes are the same. Any wheel that fits one will fit the other. The ONLY difference between the two cars, from the point of view of the wheel/tire, is the Steeda springs. The springs aren't going to change a thing but the gap, which will be a bit bigger on the stock suspension.
The 275/40 is a good choice, I wouldn't go to a 35 or 45 series. A 285/35 is also a good choice on a 19x10 but use what you've got and worry about it when it's time for new tires.
Edit; I always scratch my head a bit when people ask about comparisons to the "stock"tire size. base Ecoboosts come with 17" wheels, GTs come with 18's. Several packages include 19" wheels and 20" wheels are available as an option. Stock tire width is anything from 235 to 265 and the PP cars are staggered 255 and 275. So, which size is "stock?"

Awesome! Thanks for the help!

Regarding the "stock" tire sizes, My previous EB being a performance pack car had 19x9" with 255/40, and this GT has 18x8" with 235/50. I understand the head scratching though, just wanted to be extra sure but you did put things into perspective and I appreciate it!

1. No
2. 275/40 or 285/35
3. Offset matters when things get wide, but a ET35 or ET40 will work with a 275 or 285 tire on a square setup. I’d personally rather have the ET35 and a 285 tire FWIW.
