Wheel offset/fitment question

So, like usual, my search terms are horrid. I'm sure this is all over the internet, however, after 30 minutes of searching I can't find anything definitive. I'm looking at purchasing a set of wheels, 20x9 +35 & 20x10.5 +45. I do not want poke. I do not want to run negative camber. I do not want to stretch a tire. I want the wheels to sit flush or just inside the fender. Will this setup get me what I'm after? Thanks.

The rear is pretty flush, but just on the safe side of pokey. Normal for an aftermarket 10.5” rear

that tire make and size are you looking to run? Always start with the tire. The wheels just support the tire. If you were putting a 305 or larger rear tire on it I would recommend an 11” rear instead

i think the front will be fine

They currently have 275/35 & 305/35. However, the fronts need to be replaced, and the rears have about 60% life left. I plan to run a 255/40 or 265/35 up front. I'll probably switch to a 295/35 in the rear when it's time to change those tires. I felt like the rear would be just flush, tire-dependent. However, I was worried about the front. I'd rather have to run a small spacer to get it flush, as opposed to it poking a tad.

Side note: I haven't picked them up yet, as I want to do my research to make sure the wheels don't poke. I understand if I'm right at, flush with the wheel and run a "balloon" tire, it'll poke. I don't plan to do that. I like my wheel/tire combo to be "square". No stretch or ballooning.

a +35 is conservative on the front by about 1/2". a 10" ET35 is common and doesn't poke on the front.

You can only run about a +5mm spacer without jumping to a 20mm spacer or putting in longer studs, so even with a 5mm spacer a +35 front is conservative.

A 255 fits a 9" front without being oversized and starting to get squishy on turn in. 265 is probably ok, but 255 is the standard. For a 275 you want a 9.5" front, 285 10", etc.

I agree with your choice of a 295 for that 10.5" rear, that would be perfect.
