The difference won't be in the way the transmission shifts; it does what it does based on engine RPM, and I suppose the 10R80 might also have some kind of electronic sense of throttle position, load, etc. (Mine's a manual, so I don't know all the details of the automagic transmission.) Changing the tire diameter will have certain effects on any car, though. Smaller means quicker starts, less of a load on the engine, and fewer miles per gallon. Larger means the opposite.* Either will result in speedometer and/or odometer inaccuracy.Does a change in overall wheel diameter have an impact on how the 10R80 shifts/behaves?
Looking to understand if a change from 27 inch to 28 inch or 27 to 26 inch wheel diameter would cause the 10 speed to shift differently?
