The dash number doesn't correlate to the build date in any real way. The dash badges are pulled out of a bin of badges and attached at random to the next Bullitt coming down the line, although they are recorded against the VIN.

For example, a Bullitt with a blend date of December 1st can have a higher K number than a Bullitt with a blend date of December 10th.

Yeah it's the "blend" date on the top of the window sticker (last 4 digits). Mine:
K0095 6/21/18

The blend date isn't necessarily the build date. AFAIK the full date (day, month, year) on the sticker in the driver's door jamb is the build date.

So as we all know, our VIN's don't match our car numbers. What about Bullitt K0001? or 02 or the blue one? Surely the first few match.
