I'd run, run fast. The Ecoboom has enough trouble without strapping that big turbo on it.

EDIT: There is no way in HE*L that car is a certified pre-owned car.

Yeah, wasn't looking to really buy it was just wanting to see what it had. Hell no I will never buy a previously modded car.

Now what about this. I found a 2015 Boost PP in my budget and it has 47k miles, I drive around 5k miles a year and don't plan on stressing my car out too much. But I may buy the ford pro cal.

Is a 47k mile ecoboost too risky or should I have nothing to worry about considering its a new car. It has great history on getting serviced every few thousand miles.

I don't have any experience with the ecoboost, but I wouldn't have any problem buying one with 47k miles. I've owned several turbo cars over the past few years and they were plenty reliable.

Out of pure curiosity, what does an ecoboost with 47k miles go for these days?

A test drive would give you a good idea of how good the setup works. Looks like a good deal to me.

One I drove and looked at was a little over 18

But yeah 18's easily, seen some more rough ones at the 17 range but I want one that has been treated well.

Any tips if I do buy what I could do to restore its original power? Walnut shell blast, seafoam? Maybe start putting 93 octane?

I have 35000 miles it really runs as strong as new. Sometimes I think even better. All I would do is run the 93 octane. If you can get mid 5 sec 0-60 and strong low end pull I'm sure all is good as new. The low end (2000 to 4000rpm) really is strong in these.

Idk that sounds kind of expensive to me. What's your budget if you don't mind me asking.

LOL what? A test drive will tell you if it's running lean? Or how good the tune is???

19k is my budget for the base price of the car.

The only PP ecoboost in my price range has 47k miles, there are other in my price range but I really want the PP. Looking at the car history it looks like it was maintained well and on the test drive it was fine. Was just wondering on what I can do after I buy it to restore as much power as I can.

Make your own PP with aftermarket parts. Plus you can get the PP brake setup for cheap.
