What would you think this modded GT 500 is worth?

I have the opportunity to purchase 3000 mile GT 500 with a fair amount of what seems to well done aftermarket work done etc. etc. (130-140k in the car ) Comes with lots of tunes from Very Street-able to Wild and on e85 it did 156 in 1/4 mile i believe (tunes by PBD )

This was an 81KMSRP car white no stripes Ricardo seats and technology package

Now with Lots of Anderson carbon fiber ( hood/ wing) and set of signature forged wheels with Toyo 888

I believe I have a deal at 90 grand if I want it

I’m going to fly down tomorrow and look at it

I did talk to the original owner/builder of this car he has all the documentation for it and knows the car in and out.

I’m not looking for a drag car this would just be for show & go maybe even as dd sometimes


The question is whats the market like for a well modded GT 500 ?

I don’t mind losing a little money on my toys but just wanna make sure I’m not buying something that doesn’t have a place in the market

Honestly, I am not sure if I would spend 90k for a non-warrantied vehicle. if that doesn't matter I don't see an issue.

The mods look purely cosmetic , the vehicle should be covered by warranty

Kong ported/ polished SC , King Thottke body also fuel bigger injectors / different fuel system/ pumps aftermarket pulleys etc etc

If you care about the warranty, I'd find another car. Also if you wish to sell the car in the future, they will likely look for a stock unmodded car.

Weird that it’s at a Mitsubishi dealer. I don’t see anything they could’ve traded it in on. Maybe they got it at an auction from Carvana or some thing. I’m also wondering why put all that money into it and then get rid of it. They obviously had some coin to play with. I agree on the warranty. I would like to start off with one instead of having 3000 miles on it and it be gone already.

I think the 130K is a guesstimate based on the add-ons, if you read what is suppose to be in the car.

My concern is why are they showing pictures of a car with 609 miles on the odometer but claim it has 3,000+ miles, some may say thats nothing, but it raises a brow for me, cause if they got it when it had 609 miles on it and now has 3000+ clearly someone is driving it and not sitting on the lot which further worries me as to how its being treated. Also if you spoken to the owner the first question I'd ask is not if you have the doc for everything, but why did/are you getting rid of it. I know times can be tough, but I would rather hear it from the horses mouth than a salesmen.

The Warranty I'm not sure if its gone already, my service guy I had this convo with him awhile ago and his answer to me was they have to prove that the mod caused or contributed to the failure, dont know if the tuning kills it point blank or not upfront dont know just passing what i was told along.

looks like dealer has been joyriding. In pics it shows 609 miles, descriptions says 3,055 miles. Nice looking car, wonder if you would be able to get ahold of original owner, not sure why anyone would remove the stock hood....

Pipe dream, ants in the pants.I ask myself what mods would the 500 need? Suggest OP look at the 500 closer learn what is stock and what is not "Ricardo seats" are not a mod.
