I dont think the risk is worth it for a house you will keep for 5 years. The money is very cheap right now if its not cheap in 5 years you may end up loosing money.

I think a house you have to intend for 10 years to keep based on the risk and the fact you are paying interest up front.

A lot of people are barely even on houses they bought 10 years ago. People never really talk about that and that doesn't even factor any maintenance or upgrade they did.

You also have to factor the market, there has been a lot of changes in the rules on foreign money that has been flooding american markets

Without quoting every individual post I'll try and reply here to questions and statements, and then to PMs. Thank you to all who have posted.

R Model
As far as an R goes. I'm not sure if they'll be able to locate me one at a decent price. From what I understand, I still have to pay the difference in price between my vehicle and a new one if I don't match the original car/contract. I am not planning on looking for an R if they leave it to me to find the new vehicle as I don't have the time to scour for that deal even with the advanced resources I have over most of you. I also am not sold on having an R because I want to mod some things that on an R I would want to leave original.

Buy a GT
I agree with the GT350 owners here, that I will not have the same joy or experience in a GT (supercharged or not). But I will still enjoy it. I hate to say it but having the most HP does not excite me, so waiting for another GT500 type model isn't on the top of my list either. Not to say I wouldn't be happy but just that I like the exclusive, first time flat plane, exhaust note type of feeling the GT350 gives me. There will always be a faster car, I'm not playing that game.

Buy a Home
For the home buying/savings/responsibility:
I'm 25, I started my 401k last year and should be close or succeed in maxing it out (per my company) for both last year, and this one. I know where I want to live when I start a family and it is not in the cards if I buy right now. If I buy a house now it will be sold for the house I really want in the next 5-10 years or it will be rented out at that point. For most people that makes sense but it does scare me with the ever changing economy and unknown of the next president to buy a house that I don't need or plan on keeping right now. That could just be me talking myself out of it to get a car.

Replacement GT350
I don't know the exact process on Replace vs Refund from Ford and am still waiting on answers but I guess I could do the refund and save it until I make my decision. Cancel my wheel order and out the money aside as well. I just am having a hard time in general. In a perfect world I would keep my car with no issues and continue paying on it as I love it (yes, a 2016 tech!) except when I get in 50% of the time I have things malfunctioning. Just doesn't make sense to pay that much and not be happy every time I get in.

My dealership is very high in sales for Mustangs and we get quite a few allocations, I don't know who to talk to or how to go about asking for an extra allocation. I do vaguely remember when two of our RS's earlier this year were damaged at the plant and we received extra allocations on those for still taking them.

Current Financial Responsibilities
I don't mind my car payment right now, it's not a stress to make every month (except for not being happy with the car in its state). I have a payment on my truck also, so if I got a Raptor I'd end up over my current truck payment but no car payment - still saving money.

Buying "another" Lemon
I'm not worried about "buying another GT350 after having a lemon." I've had 8 Fords, 6 being Mustangs and never a lemon. Never even a problem car. I see a lot of QC issues here and there but overall I'm completely happy with the car...just not this exact one. I never have been to the road course in this car or any other, so experiencing that would probably only solidify my choice to be in another. The car is extremely capable and all I do right now commute on good weather days, occasional drives out of town just to enjoy the sound and feel.

Refund Process
As far as the refund goes, I am waiting to hear back but as I understand they pay off my loan (including anything I financed except cancellable services ie warranty, gap, maintenance etc) and then they pay me all my down payment and monthly payments back minus a calculated mileage use fee for miles driven before first service repair. Still waiting to find out the specifics on this one. I paid no ADM, so I'm not sure, but would assume they would pay it off regardless.

Hoodrats
Not that its anyones business (LOL!) but I have no more interest in the hoodrats and plan on marrying the GF I have currently (things may change, I know). She LOVES the Shelby and drives it 20-30% of the time we're together.

Partout (Please don't PM me - if I don't get another car I will post things for sale:) )
For the vultures, lol, IF I do not get another GT350/R:
I will be selling (parts I can remember off top):

-Steeda Spring
-JLT Brake Res Cover

Thanks for all the responses and keep them coming! I will now start replying to PMs haha
