LOL because 155MPH isn't fast enough? I'm hoping for a higher rev limiter and I'll take a couple more HP. More interested in my car turning and braking and not having to make an extra shift because of running out of RPM.

I have roads and tracks minutes from my house where Hennessey and other tuners run their cars well over 200mph, so yeah, I would love to see what the real aero limitations of the S550 are... :D

Just don't want to void my warranty doing it!

My Brother lives in NE and told me I need to come out to do the High Speed Run next year, good way to break it in plus bonus road trip :D I'm pretty sure testing the limits of S550 aero may cause an issue with warranty. Cars log everything now a days :)

I have the benefit(?) of allowing the aftermarket catch up on parts before I order my 2016 in March of 16. That being said..

Roush cat-back with catted X pipe w/quad tips if available.

Probably a FRPP CAI if the predictions that intakes won't gain much beyond sound and maybe some throttle response are true.

AED tune..

Thats really about it as far as drivetrain or engine modifications. The auto 3.55 geared S550's won't need more than about 450Hp/415tq (crank) to really be stupid quick street/strip daily drivers.

Drycell battery should save about 35 lbs, the exhaust should be about 15lbs lighter..that's 50 right there and will put it below 3700

Add in lighter, 19x9 or 9.5 rims like TSW Nurburgring's (which are about 23lbs) and good 275/40/19 or 285 wide rubber and look out.

295 or 305 wide NT05's with good track prep and reasonable DA ...1'200Ish..should see such a configuration at 11.95 flat or even 11.90 @116 or 117 without much issue.

Soup. Are you going to buy a stripe kit or are you going to plastic dip your stripes? I will tint my windows as well. It might get done before I pick it up from the dealer.

back to the topic. Most seem to be doing the obvious exhaust and track key. Anybody going to do cold air induction? What about the aftermarket tuners? Hypertech, bullydog, etc.
Most likely a stripe kit. The dealer has a shop they work with that does their custom work. So, I'll go check them out and see what options they're going to have early on.

Modular Powerhouse who used to be located in North Ga., tuned my 01 and 03 Cobras. They have since moved to Chicago and are about to get back into the Mustang world again. Tim Barth was the man in tuning Mustangs. Have to decide to drive up to Chicago and let Tim work his magic or go the Ford Track Key or ?. I am really leaning to let Tim do it. Would likely get my exhaust and CAI done at the same time and have my parts drop shipped at his business.

Long term I will go the SC route unless the 2017/18 has a SE like a GT500 replacement, then I would like sell my car for that model.

Any chance you've got a link to a breakdown of what voids the warranty on these cars? The only performance car I've owned was 40 years old, I haven't had to worry about this before.

In a nut shell: Any modification, use(abuse) that causes/leads to a warrantied component failure.

This needs to be proven and really depends on your relationship with the dealer.

Borla (touring or s-type) and FRPP tune/track-key. Don't need a lot else. I'll reconsider post warranty.

Very interested in adding the new Whipple SC that they've announced for the 5.0L Coyote. But...from what I've gleened from this forum, and comments that I respect from members like Grimmace 457, is that it's best to wait and see what's actually need and what works.

The 624 HP SC Whipple from FRPP for 2014 didn't need a booster pump for the fuel. I'm not interested in adding a booster pump, so I'll wait and see on that one for sure.

The FRPP Track Key with exhaust and upgraded air and oil filter would be an Item that I'll more than likely consider immediately because of its low cost, ease of installment and it's warranty. That would hold me over for a bit until all of the other performance mods shake out like cracking the PCM codes as also talked about on this forum.

Has anyone considered how exactly they will done the Track Key this go around considering there is NO key per say this year. My guess is that it will have to be something along the lines of (Track Fob). You'ed have to carr two Fob's with a way of deactivating one Fob while using the other.

Your thoughts would be much appricated Mr Grimmace.

Calling out OKC #1 spot after axle back install.
I will with out a doubt be going with AED again. I had a "ford racing pro cal tune" in my 2012 and was far from impressed. I felt a small bump in performance over stock but it felt like something was missing. I contacted AED and what they did to my 2012 was amazing, the car felt like it took on a Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde personality. Very tame at lower RPMS, but was a beast when when on the loud pedal.
Don't take my word for it, read up on forums.

Nothing. This will be my daily driver. I need it to be 100% reliable. 435 plus the PP will be plenty. Ah, who am I kidding? I said the same thing the last time and then I modded the hell out of it any way.
